Fomo Products, Inc. Research and Development Chemist, Andrew Shinko, Ph.D., presented a “Polyurethane Foam Sealants” seminar on Tuesday, October 20, as part of the Polyurethane Short Course which took place at the 2015 ASC Fall Convention & Expo, Oct. 19-21 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Shinko focused on low pressure one-component foams (OCF) and two-component spray polyurethane foams (SPF). Written for a variety of attendees, including chemists, application engineers, sales and marketing professionals, and technical personnel, his course included formulation overviews as well as important testing standards and methods. Dr. Shinko also covered different categories of polyurethane foams and various application methods.
